Oh, sorry I thought you wanted to be helpful.

Your condescending and ridiculous comment to skirt the issue was unwarranted and uncalled for.

If you have information share it, instead of browbeating other posters with your ad hominem remarks.

If you don't have the knowledge, fine.

“I don’t think North Korea should be allowed to launch missiles. I think we should take whatever preemptive actions are necessary.”

Yes, you may be correct he may have said that then as he left he got the phone number of the young reception and spent the past few days calling her when no one was watching.

Just as possible as your dream!! And probably more likely.

His sin of being an unfaithful husband does not disqualify him for me when our stakes are so high. If he can lead the nation back to being a strong, capitalistic, Christian-based nation, I like him.

Good thing people like you are keeping an eye on Newt’s 65 year old sex life!

Now that’s committed conservative principle!

You probably also believe he “gave divorce papers to his ex-wife in the cancer ward”!

LOL!

Newt’s running in ‘12, there’s little doubt.

No I believe he was chasing a young gal around the office on my dime while we were trying to vote clintoon out of the office for the same thing.

Both should have had more principles.

The way I remember it, Clinton was being impeached for perjury.

But I guess that’s all trivia in the effort to catalog Newt’s sex crimes.

You are oh so right about the MSM and the way they would handle Newt. The right minds would be able to come up with a plan that uses the tremendous coverage he would get, even if it's negative, to make people pay attention to him. I'm not a marketing person, but I think there are creative minds out there that could set up a system where the massive negative coverage by the MSM would be used as the bait to get people to pay attention to him, and they use his words and approach to problems to make them see the light.

I know all too well that this approaches the level of a pipe dream. But I am a firm believer that the Lord gives America what it deserves, regardless of what it takes to make it happen. We've got Obama because we deserve him in return for letting our school systems abandon all semblance of patriotic education and self reliance over the last four, going on five, decades. Had the education system continued teaching political subjects and an understanding of how our Republic works, along with inculcating a love for America and the men and women whose blood, sweat and tears gave us the greatest nation in history, Obama would have been laughed, or run off the stump in no uncertain terms.

IMHO Newt is as close to what we need to rebuild America as we're going to find. I know that's an opinion not shared by all and I appreciate and honor that difference of opinion. But for me, and for the foreseeable future, I am going to pay attention to him and support him, as well as pray that God will bless America again, as He has for so many years!

I feel quite certain that Newt in the race can't hurt. His ideas and understanding of what made America great are unmatched in today's political world. Even if he's trounced on by the MSM and Lefties a lot of people will hear some very sound speeches about our country.

I saw a big, homemade, sign in a pasture north of Tampa yesterday that said, “God, guns and guts made America great. We support our troops!” Amen!

Go Newt!

My observation of Newt Derangement Syndrome for the last few years is that 90 percent of its victims have a badly concealed obsession with Newt’s marital and sex life.

And can you believe this? Most of those people believe the DNC opposition research and propaganda that “he served divorce papers on his wife in the cancer ward”!

Now aside from the fact that Newt can’t and never could “serve” anything in the state of Georgia, and aside from the fact that he and his wife had been legally separated from months, and aside from the fact that she was in the hospital for followup on a previously successful cancer treatment (and not in “the cancer ward”), and aside from the fact that the “divorce papers” were a few handwritten notes about their pending divorce, aside from all of that.....

Well it’s hard to part with a ripping good yarn and a good seething hatred for Newt.

Yes?

“He [Newt] will articulate conservative issues as no one else today has demonstrated”

BINGO!
That alone will improve the rest of the field.
But I see him as viable in 2012 in a way that he wasnt in 2008, because of the crying need to get back to conservative roots and the lack of any other leader to take us there.

Hope he doesn’t run and dilute the pool of candidates. He’s great in some ways, but I believe I’ve heard him imply that global warming is “a thing”. Also, with his divorce issue — walking away from a very ill wife, he’ll be crucified by MSM. The dems can be bums in every way and get a pass, but not a GOP candidate.
