This story alludes to a political problem that Obama has to face.

Inner city welfare recipients and other needy people were his greatest supporters.

He promised them both hope and change.

Yet, it will begin to dawn on many of them soon enough that their lives are no better, and indeed worse, under the Obama administration.

Obama will need to explain, and this explaining is his next big challenge.
