Anyone who opposed gun control is in favor of massacres such as happened in upstate New York yesterday..............
Anyone opposed to socialized medicine is against health care for the poor....................
Anyone opposed to abortion on demand is in favor of women dying on a coat hanger.......................
If you are not sold on the hype of global warming, you are in favor of despoiling the environment and you are in favor of our coastal cities being flooded................
If you don’t want to use those new fangled light bulbs, you are in favor of pollution and aren’t concerned about protecting Mother Earth................
I’m sure I missed some liberal mind-sets here. But I think I’m catching on. If you oppose the liberal/radical agenda in any way, you don’t just disagree. You are evil and must be destroyed.
Close ... but try using a different adjective like secular. Back in 2005, then Cardnal Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI), delivered this homily at the Mass preceding the election of the new pontiff. In it, he commented:
