The New York Times is once again filtering content to protect its Chosen One. Their Friday report on the indictment of former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich covers up the document's many allegations against Barack Obama's "political patron" and longtime friend and fund-raiser, Tony Rezko...
Fund-raising and real estate. The two areas in which Rezko has been identified with Obama are the same two areas which the indictment now portrays Rezko as being involved with Blagojevich...
And those "others known and unknown to the Grand Jury" to whom the Blagojevich indictment refers? (Can anyone say, unindicted co-conspirator?) Don't expect to read about them in the Gray--and getting grayer all the time--Lady, either.

What is the difference between Blago ASKING for a job for his wife, and Barry GETTING jobs for his wife?
PING!!
The national press has been avoiding this story. The ties between Rezko, Blago, Zero and Michelle are all there for people to see, but no one is looking.
Thanks for the ping.

Blagojevich Indictment About Money
EXCERPT
In one incident, the indictment says an Illinois congressman asked about a $2 million grant included in the state budget for a school. But Blagojevich allegedly told a state official to tell the lawmaker his brother would have to raise campaign funds or the grant wouldn’t go through.
That congressman is now Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, attorneys familiar with the case said. They spoke on condition of anonymity because the congressman isn’t named in the indictment and the information is secret grand jury material.
At the time, Emanuel represented the 5th District on Chicago’s North Side. Some of the funds were later released, even though no fundraiser had been held.
The indictment does not say which of Emanuel’s two brothers was involved. Emanuel’s brother Ari is a Hollywood agent and the inspiration for Ari Gold, the Type-A superagent on the HBO series “Entourage.” His brother Ezekiel is an oncologist.
~~Wondering if the vindictive Rahm whispered this blackmail to Fitzie’s crew .. PING!
For sure, rahmbo should NEVER be left out. He’s guilty as sin like obozo.
Gee what a surprise that the NY Slimes would do this. (sarcasm so deep, hip boots aren’t enough)

Jesse Jackson Jr. interviewed by feds
BLAGO PROBE | Congressman asked why ex-gov thought he’d be game for pay-to-play
April 7, 2009
NATASHA KORECKI AND FRAN SPIELMAN Staff Reporters
Federal authorities have asked U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson (D.-Ill) why former Gov. Rod Blagojevich believed he would get campaign cash in exchange for appointing Jackson to President Obama’s vacant Senate seat, sources told the Sun-Times.
More than a week ago, Jackson and his criminal defense lawyer sat down for an interview with investigators in connection with the ongoing corruption probe of the now-indicted Blagojevich.
Among the areas of interest, sources say, was what Jackson told his representatives to convey to the Blagojevich camp on his behalf last year — a time Jackson sought the Senate seat appointment.
And, in a signal that the probe into dealings involving a possible Jackson appointment is still under way, witnesses and possible evidence involved in that part of the alleged scheme were recently subpoenaed by a federal grand jury, sources say.
