I’m not defending the actions of this shooter. But, lets keep in mind we still don’t know the full details of this. Did the police have a warrant to enter the home? Who made the “domestic disturbance call”? Could he have been unfairly targeted for having weapons in his house? I have a true story, but the identities will remain anonymous. I have a fellow officer in my BN whose brother was just shot by the Bakersfield California Police. His brother was on his way over to his friends house (who was a female and they had been friends since high school) saying her boyfriend was beating her and she was scared. She also called the police. My friends brother arrived at the scene and as he was approaching the house, the police asked him to turn around, and as he turned around they shot him numerous times. Coincidentally, the police have not been found guilty in shooting of an un armed person. Lets not forget Ruby Ridge. Sometimes the law gets a little too pushy and they do not know their limits. I’m not going to rush to judge this guy until I know all of the facts.
Correction to above, the Bakersfield California Police Department have been found NOT guilty of the shooting.
His mother made the call. Perp had been out drinking last night; came in minutes before domestic violence call, by mother, to Pgh PD. Per a neighbor, a history of Police calls at this house. They didn’t need a warrant...they were answering a call.
This call had nothing to do with his gun collection.
