Did you hear that the Iowa gays says it is unconstitutional to declare that a marriage is between a man and a woman only? I’ll have to check my copy of the constitution but seriously doubt it is in there.

Given that those that WROTE the Constitution believed homosexuality was a crime, it can safely be stated gay marriage isn't a right.

In fact it was a seriously punished crime, usually execution. Jefferson changed the state of Virginia penalty for homosexual acts into merely castration and, IIRC, banishment.
