Just a guess.
Maybe he was fired from IBM because his work papers had expired or weren't in order. Or was he a citizen? I hadn't heard that he was or wasn't. I thought IBM was laying people off. I wonder if there was a problem with him being here legally and that's why he went there.
Right now there is a populist backlash growing within IBM because it is believed that IBM is getting rid of US employees and sending their jobs offshore.
This may be a case of a populist backlash actually leading to violence. Maybe this will take the starch out of some of the folks who are using populism to further their egenda...because by doing so they are creating hate.
