The “Christian” gay-dater site.

I wonder if they will offer a better service than Craigslist. An ABCDisney journalist got murdered by an underaged male he hired (through Craigslist) to abuse him in a gay S&M relationship.

I thought the gays had Craig’s List - why shake down eHarmony? Nothing is sacred anymore...

It’s about the State setting forth an established constraint on religious teaching.

Even though same sex marriage is illegal in much of the nation and the state goal of eharmony is marriage connections, the State said that they must offer same sex couplings.

And another judge elsewhere ruled that a private company must offer muslim employees additional scheduled breaks for prayer time.

Got that? No prayer in public schools but government imposed mandatory prayer time at private corporations.

“Got that? No prayer in public schools but government imposed mandatory prayer time at private corporations.”

Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, NY had prayer time in school for the large Muslim population there. The Christian and Jewish students are not entitled to the same courtesy.

Shouldn’t everyone’s dissatisfaction with this issue be more appropriately focused on the courts instead of eHarmony?

I'd say that deserves a large, obvious YES !

As I understand it, eHarmony set up a parallel site by virtue of a NJ court order. It doesn’t sound as if a hetero would go to that site v. the original. Nor vice versa.

It’s easy for you or me to suggest they shut down, but it’s not our livelihood. Closing down ‘on principle’ also would then deprive those hetero singles of the opportunity to meet compatible people of the opposite sex to form meaningful relationships.

Eharmony made the best of a horrible situation.

eHarmony is still discriminating, because they are not offering the same service to homosexual men. They are matching heterosexual men with women, after all...

C’mon people, they were forced into it by the courts.

Can you imagine trying to match two fags on “29 dimensions of compatibility” ?

1) How many reasons do you have for hating and fearing men ?

a) five or ten
b) eleven to a hundred
c) upwards of three billion
d) all of the obove

or

1) What are you most interested in ?

a) young boys
b) old boys
c) any boys
d) all of the above

To correctly match these diseased folk, you’d have to understand their illness.

I don’t wish eHarmony the job. But I don’t blame them for caving to the courts, either. Had they not, the homosexuals would have simply filed elsewhere, again and again.

It seems to me that locating your business operations outside a certain state should preclude that state from having any say in what you offer via the Internet.
