WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) -- Four people designated to administer lethal injections to death-row inmates at the Washington State Penitentiary have resigned, apparently worried that their identities could become public in court.
The Seattle Times reported Thursday that the four resigned Tuesday for fear that their names would become known as a result of litigation on whether lethal injection constitutes cruel and unusual punishment.....

The real tragedy of this story is that the Criminal Rights Nazis will do anything to spare the life of a capital felon, at the expense of an innocent victim.
There is no need to release the IDs of those doing the executing
This push to do away with the death penalty is very troubling...and we see what happens to a country that does not execute its capital felons....like Mexico.
Even scarier is that a number of GOPers are joining the pro-criminal bandwagon
If the State can allow Gary Ridgway - the Green River Killer, to bargain his way out of the death penalty, that pretty much set the bar awful high for what will justify the death penalty in Washington. Ridgway in November of 2003 he pleaded guilty to 48 counts of aggravated murder of women throughout the State, although he says he actually killed 90 women or more.
He was a special case - the state wanted him to locate the bodies of the victims in return for life w/o parole. Without
his help the victims would be forever missing.
