I am honestly puzzled about something. Who is pushing for the repeal of the conscience clause? Abortion is a cash cow for Planned Parenthood. Why in the world would they want abortions available in every hospital? Who is behind this?

The simple answer is that the people within Planned Parenthood aren’t motivated by greed, they truly BELIEVE that what they are doing is a noble and virtuous cause. Too them, abortions are a sacrament. Whatever increases the number of abortions is a good thing.

Think about it, the only rational explanation for the self contradictory behaviors of the left is that supernatural evil exists and that there are people who have sworn an allegiance to it.

For example, NOW gives Islam a pass on the abuse of women because Islam and NOW are both on the same team. People who call lies truth and call truth lies all serve a common master.

“Who is behind this?”

Satan, the father of lies.

You need to read up on Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood.

Money is NOT the motive; eugenics is the motive.

Ms. Sanger's goal was the elimination of "undesirables" in the gene pool

"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."

-- Margaret Sanger's December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Original source: Sophia SmithCollection, Smith College, North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also described inLinda Gordon's Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of BirthControl in America . New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.

"The third group [of society] are those irresponsible and reckless ones having little regard for the consequences of their acts, or whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers. Many of this group are diseased, feeble-minded, and are of the pauper element dependent upon the normal and fit members of society for their support. There is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped."

-- Margaret Sanger. Speech quoted in Birth Control: What It Is, How ItWorks, What It Will Do. The Proceedings of the First American BirthControl Conference . Held at the Hotel Plaza, New York City, November 11-12, 1921. Published by the Birth Control Review , Gothic Press, pages 172and 174.

Planned Parenthood (and the "pro-choice" movement) is about reducing or eliminating the "undesirable elements" of our population.

She is a kindred spirit with Adolph Hitler. That's not an exaggeration.
