WASHINGTON (CNN) Former Republican presidential candidate John McCain is unveiling his own Republican budget alternative, which he says brings the debt and deficit lower than Democrats' proposals.
Unlike Republicans in the House, Senate GOP leaders opted out of crafting an alternative budget, and instead plan to offer their ideas with amendments to the Democrats budget.
But McCain clearly disagrees with that approach.

Actually from what I read his budget would bring the deficit down to about $450 billion as apposed to $1.1 Trillion under Obama’s budget.
That's not slightly less, that's $650 billion a year less.

Why would anyone expect something intelligent and responsible from McCain. He is no different than a Democrat.

There were only three reasons to vote for McCain, the first was the obvious alternative which is the Usurper-in-Chief that we now see dismantling what’s left of our Republic, the second reason was Governor Sarah Palin who was certainly more conservative than McInsane, and the third reason was Cindy McCain who would certainly have been the hottest First Lady in American history, IMHO.
