“The shortage of Arabic and Farsi interpreters is the fault of the Government. Shortly after 9-11 the Government was recruiting Arabic and Farsi interpreters. The only catch was that one had to have a Masters Degree to be considered. Unfortunately for the Government they didnt have many takers. Then there were the Arabic speaking Jews that applied. They were not considered at all.”
And those Arabic and Farsi speaking Jews are people the U.S. can actually trust and trust well to be acting in the best interests of the U.S., rather than as a fifth column in the CIA and FBI. Many of these Arabic and Farsi speaking Jews are the children and grandchildren of the 850,000-900,000 Jews whom Islamic regimes expelled and forced to flee with only the clothes on their backs. These Jewish families had been living in these places for thousands of years. The Babylonian Empire was not yesterday.
Among all the bogus Islamic claims about Muslim refugees from Israel, one doesn’t ever hear the Islamic countries admitting that they themselves actually expelled Jews from their own lands and their numbers exceeded the number who fled from the Holy Land at the direction of their leaders who promised them they’d come back and take everything that was Jewish.
Persian, Egyptian, Syrian, Yemenite, Moroccan, Tunisian and Israeli Jewss love the U.S. and hihgly well-suited recruits could be found among them. The U.S. intelligence community needs to bring in Arabic and Farsi speakers it can trust with the greatest degree of certainty. They need to remove their brains from where the sun doesn’t shine and stop blacklisting Jews withe these languages skills from these positions.
It was more a comment on PANETTA than the muslims.
Somehow I can envision a complete trainwreck coming when CAIR operatives get these intelligence positions.
