U.S. employers who abate the illegal immigration problem by bringing in or coddling undocumented workers The word needed here is "ABET" not abate. Abate here is grammatcally misused and otherwise is the reverse of the probable intended meaning. Abate is to lessen. Abet is to assist and encourage.
