Well, all I know is that for me, on MY OWN taxes, a correction of $7K over three years would be a trivial amount. I pay many, many times more than that every year. For me it would amount to a rounding error. I'm sure that Sibelius makes a lot more than me, so it is even more trivial to her. I understand that she's a liberal rat b@$tard. That is not in dispute. :-)
Your assumption that, because she is a politician, she must be rich I think matches up pretty well with America’s broken political process.
Oh, and when do the amount of unpaid taxes transcend from “honest mistake” to criminal? To avoid confusion in the future, why don’t we just set a standard for how much income tax may be withheld from the government without criminal charges being brought? It would only apply, of course, to the political elite.
