Federal capitol investment- how broadly defined? any hospital, university, school, state, county or city that takes government funds? Any aerospace, construction, consulting, you name it firm, that has a government contract?

“”This bill will show which Republicans are so much on the take from the financial services industry that they’re willing to actually bless compensation that has no bearing on performance and is excessive and unreasonable,” Grayson said. “We’ll find out who are the people who understand that the public’s money needs to be protected, and who are the people who simply want to suck up to their patrons on Wall Street.””

Uh hua, and we are ALSO going to find out who the Socialist bastards ARE who support Socializing and NATIONALIZING America into the direct power and CONTROL of the federal Government!

Everyone who votes AGAINST this bill is voting for a FREE America, and for American Businesses to RUN THEMSELVES, and NOT be run by a Government like Castro runs every industry in Cuba!

Congress CREATED THIS CRISIS SO THEY COULD USURP FREE BUSINESSES INTO THE CONTROL OF GOVERNMENT. THIS IS DELIBERATE. THIS IS A SOCIALIST TAKEOVER OF AMERICA!!!!!!!

(All Democrats voted for it, and all Republicans, with the exception of Reps. Ed Royce of California and Walter Jones of North Carolina, voted against it.)

Names to remember. Republican names.

"This bill will show which Republicans are so much on the take from the financial services industry that they're willing to actually bless compensation that has no bearing on performance and is excessive and unreasonable," Grayson said. "We'll find out who are the people who understand that the public's money needs to be protected, and who are the people who simply want to suck up to their patrons on Wall Street."

A threat -- any Republican who votes against this theft that reaches down to the lowliest employee of these companies (and eventually all companies) will be labelled "on the take" by the Democratic goons in Congress.

After the AIG bonus tax bill was passed, some members of the House privately expressed regret for having supported it and were quietly relieved when the White House and Senate leadership sent it to an unceremonious death. But populist rage did not die with it, and now the House is preparing to do it all again.

Message to the 85 Republicans who supported the original 90% tax bill: Actions Have Consequences. The Democrats now want to wipe your face in your own cowardice.

Any government that can impose a minimum wage can impose a maximum wage as well.

The inmates are literally running the asylum. If Barney Frank wouldn’t fire himself for the piss poor performance he has put in and the catastrophic results of his work he has no justification to even voice an opinion on the salaries of ANYONE else.

They have a mandate for change, remember?

These ignorant little pigs think they can do whatever they want and we keep letting them get away with it.

Every day Bawney Frank, has to find another scapegoat....he'll run out of men to hide behind soon and then that little smarmy rat will be caught, and he'll go down hard, publicly and finally.

I can't wait to see him snivel off to prison.

Gee, shouldn’t we also be setting salaries for Washington? Not to mention term limits and pension qualification service/

These clowns go to Washington, make millions and retire on our nickel. Barney is a dangerous and stupid man.

The new legislation, the "Pay for Performance Act of 2009," would impose government controls on the pay of all employees -- not just top executives -- of companies that have received a capital investment from the U.S. government.

To the people who laughed when I said “communism.” I’m the one laughing now. This is pure communism. The #1 dogma of communism is that the collectivity controls all the means of production. #2 is there is no private property.
A corollary of that is that the government is the only employer.

I expected that much from BHO.

What really disgusts me is that the American public is acting like nothing more than sheep.

But now, in a little-noticed move, the House Financial Services Committee, led by chairman Barney Frank, has approved a measure that would, in some key ways, go beyond the most draconian features of the original AIG bill.

Understatement of the year. Disgusting pigs in DC setting salaries of people who actually do honest work for a living. This idea does not even pass the laugh test-- things must be desperate in DC for anyone even to contemplate it seriously. If this passes, the next bill will be to control the massive civil unrest that will certainly follow and protect Congress from the people they allegedly serve.

This law combined with the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 signed by BHO provides all the legislative authority needed to set wages for every possible job.

Can you imagine the bureaucratic control needed to administrate this power? I believe Barney Frank just had an orgasm thanks to Henry Waxman.

You accept money from the federal government and they own you. Sort of like the mafia, only on a much larger scale.

Communism: A theoretical economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members. A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people. The Marxist-Leninist version of Communist doctrine that advocates the overthrow of capitalism by the revolution of the proletariat.
