Europe’s 60,000-troop Rapid Reaction Force will soon be ready to deploy around the world… Imagine that I am a Chinese lieutenant-general reading that sentence. Imagine me shaking in my military low-quarter shoes.
Or not.

Even flushing yourself down the toilet of history is trickier than it looks. LOL!

Saying the U.S. is becoming “Europeanized” understates the danger. Socialism with a white population might get you Sweden. Worse than the U.S., but not horrible. Given the current and future racial make-up of the U.S., socialism here may result in an Argentina, Mexico or (even worse) Zimbabwe. This sounds pessimistic, and some would call it “racist”, but look at the examples of Oakland, New Orleans, and Detroit.

You can't - not listen - when Mark Steyn starts talking. His mind is so quick. Wouldn't it be a hoot to get Steyn and Dennis Miller together discussing politics and European Socialism (or just about anything). Most of us would walk away with a headache just trying to make sense of their latest obscure reference.
To: Rummyfan
With HALF of Americans dependent on the government for their livelihood and HALF of Americans who pay no federal income tax; I WISH it were just “europeanization”...
it's more like America on her way to Communism.
Well all we can hope for now is that the Gelding Old Party gets a spine & testicle implant before next year.

In Europe except for a few basics is taxed heavily, coffe, tea, chocolate, whiskey to name a few. A tour guide told some torists that it not un-usual for a doctor, lawyer etc, to moonlight driving a cab or delivering newspapers.

It is noteworthy that European nations like France and Germany and even China have begun publicly lecturing the US on the dangers of socialism.
Unfortunately, the noise from one of zero’s weekly parties in which he pats himself on the back for the excesses of his administration are drowning out the voices trying to inject a note of sanity into zero’s chaos.

Steyn is a genius at making huge concepts simple to understand. I will use this whenever I try to explain what “unsustainable birth rate” means.

An America that attempts Euro-scale social programs would have to reel in its military expenditures. My 2030 nightmare: To avoid bankruptcy the US sells its entire Navy (all ships, no crews) to China.
