WASHINGTON -- Nobody is buying stock in the Ameri can auto companies.
Except, that is, for President Obama.
And he just bought a couple of the world's largest automakers. With your money, naturally.
Now, Obama may not hold an official certificate showing that he owns Chrysler and General Motors, but he owns them just the same.
That's right, forget all the lofty rhetorical idealism of the Obama campaign and all the talk of hope and change.
What America really needs in these tough times is a new Used Car Dealer-in-Chief!
And that's just what we got from the Grand Foyer of the White House yesterday as Obama explained all the great new features of owning the world's second-largest automaker.
"Just in case there's still nagging doubts," Obama said, as if to a skeptical buyer.
"Let me say it as plainly as I can: If you buy a car from Chrysler or General Motors, you will be able to get your car serviced and repaired, just like always."
All that was missing was the sharkskin suit, giant pinky ring and slicked-back 'do.

It really begs for a photoshopped pic of Slick Zero, used car salesman.
LOL.
I can just see a Million Clunker March on the White House.
And an Auto Repairs sign over the portico.
And
And
And
This is going to get very funny before we cry.
The Typical White Person has learned of some newly proposed car models Americans can expect in the coming months and years, models that reflect our new sense of unity and purpose as our government now enters into the auto business for you and me. Selling used cars is about as high a paygrade as Obama should ever have reached if not for the massive National media campaign to install him in the Whitehouse.
Sometimes when you get what you asked for you get screwed...
“What’s good for General Motors is good for America, and vice versa.”
The government has been sticking pins in the productive part of America so long that’s it’s become second nature. We’ve managed to remove most of the smoke stacks that blighted the landscapes, but with them went the jobs that and profits and afforded us comfort and wealth.
Obama isn’t the answer and couldn’t find it with both hands. We don’t need to train engineers and scientists to be “community organizers”, sharp elbowed hucksters thrive in our rich native soil, no matter how deracinated and feckless.
We have purchased GM cars for years, at least one new one every two years. I didn’t think anything could sour me on GM, but Obama did.
I won’t buy another GM product ever. To heck with (G)overnment (M)otors.
Here’s a good photo for someone good at photoshop.
