Here’s the story of a previous case of Unlawful Assembly:

Show up anyway!....Who the hell are they to cancel anything?
Somehow I got a feeling that if it was an anti-war there would have been no problem with the number of people.
This shows a tremendous amount of disrespect... They figure they can push us around because we’re well behaved, law abiding nice folks. It’s time to get in their faces!!!
Can someone please help refresh my memory?
Civil disobedience.
What the....?
.......the right to peaceably assemble..........Oh well, what the heck....it is only in the Constitution.
This needs to be spread to people like Hannity, Levin, Glenn Beck, etc. Needs some ‘exposure’.
Screw the government of Cape Coral. Show up anyway.
Did Rahm call Crist?
Do it anyway!!
Then they leave the people only one other choice.
These tea parties need to be held on the weekends. People have jobs, their kids are in school. Turn out will triple if it’s a weekend.
Go anyway. This is the PERFECT opportunity to show them we’re not going to put up with their BS.
If I was closer...I would be there. But I’m going to ours here, at Veteran’s Park.
I was at the one in Decatur, Al. on Saturday. The weather was marvelous, the speakers were great, the park was beautiful, and the river was full!
And we had a train to pass by very slowly, with the engineer just waving at us with our flags flying!
He was going so slow, he could read our signs.
All you Florida folks need to show up down there because we are still a free America!
I’m split on this. On the one hand, it would seem the whole point would be to show up in defiance of government control, as a further demonstration that people have had it with the bootheel of bureaucrats and their infernal rules.
On the other hand, if this is a standing regulation which is not overly difficult to comply with and it makes sense to have liability insurance, cleanup etc. After all, the next time gay animal rights commies want to hold a rally, if we set a precedent that you don’t have to cover these things, we’re going to be unhappy with those results.
Still, the crisis of the moment, and the need to make a LOUD statement of our discontent seems to be the guiding force. If it’s not too difficult to comply with the requirement, it would be good to do. If not, I hope they march regardless and make a big enough impression that even the filthy MSM can’t ignore.
Re: Cape Coral, FL:
I don’t know how long this will last, but I edited the Wikipedia page for the 1st Amendment to read:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances — as long as you have insurance.

This is precisely what is wrong with any conservative movement. We are law-abiding citizens and they know we will adhere to the law which is why this country is in the condition it is now. How many are they going to put in jail?
Here’s the article I was telling you about!!
