That was probably Darius Rucker, formerly of “Hootie and the Blowfish” fame. He recently resurfaced in the Nashville country scene and appears to be doing quite well.

Yep it was him and i wish him loads of success. Hopefully it’s the start of a trend of black musicians crossing over into country. Because i think that country music brings people closer together, lets the listener feel a more range of emotions, and instills patriotism and individual responsibility much more than the current pop music does.
