[Can we start by ZOTING those stupid mormon threads sixty times a day, seven days a week attempting to brainwash us into believing it is a real religion?]
You have to understand the LDS history of blood atonement to understand just how serious these attacks can be. There is a reason the Mormons got driven out of Kirtland, then Far West, then Nauvoo - mainly for this same type of victimhood turned to revenge.
I have seen it before in my business life here in Vegas, how outsiders are culled and shunned. Now I guess they will try and cull and shun Free Republic.
I will make it a point to shun Mormon posters with a handle of "Roman". It reminds me too much of Harry Dean Stanton's character on "Big Love".
I don't get too wrapped up in the theological aspects of the show. It's got a great cast and "unique" storylines.
Woohoo! We're going to be shunned!
Zane Grey's "Riders of the Purple Sage" and Arthur Conan Doyle's "A Study in Scarlet" were written a long time ago and both offer pretty startling perspectives of the bloodthirsty tradition of Mormons in those early days. And while it seems a long time ago ... it wasn't really all that long ago.
