What a bunch a Nonsense

First of all the husband also has to be worthy and with the attitude described here he is far from being worthy

A worthy wife can enter the Celestial Kingdom with out her husband when he is unworty...

you just want this garbage to be true because your hearts dispised the LDS!

“First of all the husband also has to be worthy and with the attitude described here he is far from being worthy”

1) I understand that the husband is supposed to be worthy - as I stated in that post I did not go into depth on all details. Indirectly you have confirmed that I was correct about the rest of what I wrote (more accurately, that my LDS ex GF, and my current LDS wife are correct)

Thank you for that.

2) In my post, I actually did not describe any particular man, nor attribute an attitude to any particular man.

Re-read my post in its entirety and show me anything which either states outright, or infers otherwise if you please.

3) I did not confirm, nor deny what you disclosed about a “worthy woman” entering the “celestial kingdom.

Again, the issue of leaving out details for the sake of brevity - which I mentioned.

But it is (again) nice to have you confirm indirectly that something that I was previously told directly was accurate.

Guess that stuff is just not-so-secret anymore - especially now that I have further confirmation of specifics. Thanks for your confirmations.

I’m sure they are unintentional, to some extent.

People have told me I have a knack for getting information out of others that they did not mean to disclose, whether by asking the right questions, “playing friendly”, or feigning some knowledge in order to elicit their sputtering corrections.

That is not what I was trying for here, with the post you responded to - at least not from you.

But I guess it is difficult for me to suppress my own natural talents - so I thank you for your good spirit in volunteering those additional details and confirming information for me.

I actually wish those things were not true, not part of any of the LDS ceremonies.

As I am married to a “lifelong LDS” gal, I do not despise LDS people in general. I have meals, play board games, spend holidays, and enjoy jovial conversation with them often.

I do, however, disagree with the truth and validity of LDS doctrines, and the theology, and many of the “Articles of faith” in the strongest possible terms; my wife is aware of that, and I was fully honest with her about it well before we married - even in the earliest days of our dating relationship.

I will avowedly NEVER be a “worthy” mormon man, myself. But I will seek all the days of my life to be a good and faithful husband, a loving father, and a man after the heart of G_d as David was (without any of the concubines and stuff though - LOL!) and will enter Heaven as one of many redeemed by the grace of Christ alone, through His death on the Cross. While I was yet a sinner, He died for me, and I am saved. Hallelujah!

That is more than good enough for my wife, and her mother, her father, her four older brothers, and wives of the three who are married - all feel she and I are well-suited (I agree), and that I am a good husband for, and good to her. It is my goal to continue to be such.

Peace

A.A.C.

Isn't it fun for you to be off the Religion Forum where you can lecture others, read minds and call everyone names with impunity? (Or at least, more so.)

Too bad you can't have a glass of wine to calm your bitterness. I'd buy you a whole bottle!

Here's a book to help you along ;)
