Your alleged experiences are pretty far from any reality that I have ever experienced. And frankly quite hard to fathom.
Rather than trying to ferret through all the competing views & doctrines, trying to decide who had the truth, I went to the author of all this & asked Him. The experience was rewarding, exact, & without doubt.
It's not hard to believe that you were totally deceived...but I'd wager that you had help from someone. A friend, a family member, a mentor whispering in your ear.....perhaps?
So, thank you for the offer, but I had already taken up that offer from the Lord, as He asked us to in the Bible. My answer was as deep & profound as one would expect from an answer from the Lord. He promised it would be. I no longer had to rely solely on my own intellect & rational for the answers in a very imperfect world. My creator spoke to me. I will be forever indebted to Him for that.
Your previous posts lead me to very much question your understanding of the Bible..and how God speaks to us.
I also wonder how you studied the Bible....It doesn't appear as if you studied it very hard. As there are CLEAR warnings, and admonitions about what you are currently involved in.......
Actually, I had no family or friends that were LDS. I sought the church out. I’m first gen LDS. Straining a little? Guys, it’s been fun, but like many here I’ve spent far too much time away from work today. Best wishes to all.
