That's not sacred....you're hiding behind that excuse. Only the secret handshakes, death oaths, and your secret name you swear not to speak.
I always wondered about my temple name....Samuel. Seems like I've been standing on a wall preachign repentance and having arrows shot at me all morning....Maybe there's something to it.
Nah....
Once again, you show your ignorance of doctrine & the temple. If you really knew about the temple, you would know what I mean.
“...oil rubbed on your body in places usually covered by underwear in the temple...”
Check.
Spot on, according to my ex-GF (of 8 - 9 yrs ago), “Liz”, and confirmed by my wife.
“Only the secret handshakes, death oaths, and your secret name you swear not to speak.”
Check, and ditto from both my LDS sources.
I know what “Liz”’s secret name is. I have not directly asked my wife for hers as yet; I am not firmly decided on what sort of strategy to employ. (suggestions, SENTINEL?)
I do know also (from “Liz”, confirmed by other indep. sources) that in the course of a “celestial sealing” marriage ceremony, the wife’s secret name is disclosed to the husband, because it is his duty/option to “call her out” into the celestial kingdom to join him when they are both passed on.
I am oversimplifying the details for brevity, but SENTINEL, I believe you know well enough to fill in any “blanks”.

Don’t forget that everyone who went through for themselves that day got the same name. That always bugged me.
