During the election I regularly heard a commercial in which a guy who was identified as President of the G.O.A. shilled for Obama. He claimed that BO would protect gun rights.

I don’t remember his name but I believe he was identified as a pro football player. Anyone know anything about this?

Larry Pratt is the head of Gunowners of America, and he most certainly did not endorse Senator Obama. On the contrary, GOA denounced Senator Obama and his atrocious record on the RKBA.

The only "gun" group that I am aware of that endorsed Mr. Obama is the sham organization "American Hunters and Shooters of Association." Its founders, such as its president, Ray Schoenke, and John Rosenthal, are well-known gungrabbers who set up this fake organization (it never had even 200 "members") as some of sort of gun-grabbers' alternative to the NRA.
