"Kay would be a better governor than Rick good hair no honesty Perry." I believe you are the only supportive comment about KBH. Care to tell the rest of us why you think she will be a better Gov than Perry, or preferably another conservative other than the two mentioned. KBH needs to retire and enjoy the praise she will receive for her dedication to Texas. Otherwise, she runs a huge risk of having to run the dirtiest campaign of her career and destroying a decent reputation. Whatever the outcome from this campaign is, it is certainly to end the political career of the looser.

I’m not an “insider” either, but was in Austin to talk to some Reps and Senators this week. Lots of talk about the potential KBH vs Perry primary...
There have been rumors circulating for years that Perry swings from both sides of the plate. None of these have ever been substantiated. Again, just hearsay, but we were told on multiple occasions by multiple people that KBH potentially has the goods to turn these rumors into reality.
I’m not a huge Perry fan, but wonder that if these “rumors” are true, why hasn’t someone else used them against him in a more forceful way?

A well respected auto dealer was given a hand shake, by Perry, that fees for paperwork, on new cars, could be raised by about 25.00 on each car - that includes the things people want like the dealer getting the county records to clear the title to the new owner via the dealer - saves lots of time and hastle. Perry vetoed the bill. Perry sold a Spanish company the contract on the TransTexas highway before anyone had seen the plans. No bids just a sale. I could go on and on. One day someone will find the loose string on the sweater and it will all unravel. I have no proof but I don't trust him.
As to KBH she is on many sides of issues, she is a mainstream religous person from the old school of go along and get along and I disagree with her. But she works hard for values and good ideas - maybe not everything I like but more than Perry and I trust that if she makes a promise she won't knife her supporters.

Keep in mind too Kay Barely was an early and staunch supporter of the McCain-Feingold legislation.
Somewhere around here I have a letter from her defending that stance, after I wrote to her.
She no doubt had those letters printed out by the thousands...

Is Kay Bailey snorting Cocaine or Mainlining Heroin? It’s gotta be one of the two causing the asinine statements she has been making lately:-)

"You were completely devastated and you never let it show on your face," Hutchison said during the forum. "That character is why you are secretary of state today." Clinton smiled as her eyes began to water. The audience then gave her a major ovation.
And Kay Baily Hutchinson calls Sarah an outsider. Thank God that Sarah is an outsider, because if being an insider means attacking your own (Sarah) while showing reverence for the Democrats, the GOP will get better results as a party by keeping themselves outside of the loop.
KBH has been in the loop for far too long, and she needs to go. This type of conduct isn't good for Republicans.
To: Victoria Delsoul; True Republican Patriot
KBH is intentionally positioning herself to the left of center. I suspect her campaign has determined that her support among the right is low and therefore the only way for her to win the Gov race is for the left to elect her. Look for much more from the new leftest KBH. NOWAYKAY NOWAYKAY NOWAYKAY...

"I never saw Hutchison as a strong willed leader type" She has been in the Senate for a long time, and as far as I can tell, she is outspoken about nothing. Texas needs more Statesmen, not party planners.
