...I agree, great read. You mention law suit. Been thinking about the AIG employees VS acorn debacle. Isn’t conspiracy to incite a riot against the law? Maybe I’m reaching to far, but congress and POSPOTUS comments put those people in harms way...
I would think that might be a good route for them, but I'm not a lawyer so don't know if they would have a case.
However, I do know that it is illegal to single out an individual or group to be taxed differently than others. So I kept thinking they should have kept their bonuses and sued the IRS or Congress for taxing them 90%.
Those bonuses were in their legal contracts, congress put in the bailout bill that those bonuses were to be paid, and some of the bonuses recipients worked for $1.00 with the bonus as the rest of their pay, etc....then to tax them 90% out of so-called outrage would not set well with the courts.
