>>”Dear readers, please take a bow! Because of tens of thousands of patriotic, freedom-loving Americans—including thousands of courageous Missourians—the long arm of totalitarianism was shortened just a bit.”<<

Every cop in America has heard about this memo, few will hear about the retraction of it.

You can’t un-ring a bell.

“Every cop in America has heard about this memo, few will hear about the retraction of it.”

This is why, in every state where there is a Homeland Security Fusion Center (especially, but not limited to these states), the same thousands who called, emailed and wrote to the Missouri DPS need to immediately write to their own state's DPS and the DHS/FC.

Send the letter that Baldwin, Barr, and Paul jointly wrote to Missouri Governor Jay Nixon to their own states’ governors, their state legislative representatives, county commissions and county sheriffs.

Send Baldwins report of the Missouri recension to the same state officials.

Even send highlights of the original Missouri law enforcement report to the same officials, highlighting those sections that name who the writers classify as potential terrorists.

We have already written to our state's elected officials from our governor to our county sheriff, and have copied our federal senators and district representative.

We have written insisting that the state legislature prevent any abuse to the people by use of political profiling.

No, you can't unring a bell, but you can make a whole lot of elected representatives and law enforcement people aware that the sound of the bell was ominous and dangerous.

We have mailed out about a dozen letters thus far in our state to the higher ups, and to our own sheriff, and insisted that they respond on the issue of this kind of political profiling.

We have highlighted the fact that the Missouri report only accused conservatives and Constitutionalists as potential threats. It never once mentioned Islam, eco-terrorists, or left-wingers of any kind. The report even included illustrations of historical patriotic symbology (some of which is currently being used in the Tea Party movement) as belonging to potential “terrorists.”

If all we can do for now is to keep writing letters, then that is exactly what we will do. And keep writing them, and keep on writing even more. I believe thousands who wrote to the Missouri officials are now turning their attention to their own state's officials.
