The WTO rules were setup in a treaty which was ratified by the Senate, so we are obligated to to follow them. They are enforced by a WTO court, so this has nothing to do with how many votes we have vs. the Euros. The WTO doesn’t prevent the US from regulating or taxing gambling, but it does prevent the US from setting up regulations or taxes favorable to American gambling interests over foreign gambling interests. The US has already lost a WTO decision for this very same practice once before. Antiqua won the right to retaliate against the US because of gambling protectionism several years ago. We haven’t come into compliance since that decision and will most likely lose again.

And what is the name of this “treaty” that we signed with the WTO?

There is not treaty....we agreeed to join...there is no treaty

Constitutionally....we are not obligated to follow an “agreement”.....also, all treaties have one thing in common....they are made to be broken.

Those who value Free Trade over national soverignty are committing treason.
