There just might be a little bit of racism involved here. I’m inclined to believe a little bit that a white guy might have gotten a break.
I don’t know if it was racism. I just think it was an inexperienced cop on a power trip. Sad story in any case.
In the future, we’ll be hearing about “envy” instead of racism. It will be a matter of the lower class, union policeman vs. the rich black athlete.
Could be. I’m sure we wil never know.
I can say that I have been unduly harrassed by police officers at least twice, and I am white...and my dad used to be District Attorney and a judge, and I always say “yes, sir” and “no, sir” to police officers.
It can happen to anyone if the cop is a jackass.
