Laura Ingraham is back. I'm glad that the sometimes correct but whiny Tammy Bruce isn't guest hosting today. While Tammy is less obnoxious than the average pro-abortion lesbian feminazi, it does bother me that a supposedly pro-life, pro-marriage devout Catholic like Laura would allow Tammy to be her guest host when she's gone. It would be like Tammy allowing a pro-life Christian to guest host her local talk show to advocating positions on life and the natural family contrary to hers. Why doesn't Laura pick a guest host that agrees with her on these issues?

Exactly. Listening to Tammy defend same-sex “marriage” from an allegedly “conservative” viewpoint which is contrary to the religion Laura claims to profess was very disturbing. It’s one thing for Laura to have Tammy as a guest on her show. It’s entirely another thing to have Tammy take her place as host. If I want liberal, pro abortion feminazi talk, I would listen to that show instead of a conservative talk show. I wouldn’t expect a Biblically orthodox Christian church pastor invite a guest speaker who denied the Resurrection to be his substitute pastor on a Sunday morning either and we all know Keith Olbermann would never invite Laura Ingraham to guest host his show. So why does Laura do this?
My guess is that she holds many of Tammy’s views and has her on the show to help brainwash her listeners to her position.
Not unlike the RINO Sean Hannity and his total support of McCain and Rudy.

Laura is not a RINO. I’ve beenlistening to her for at least 5 years now, and she is not wishy-washy in the least on any of her conservative, Catholic views. She really grilled Arlen Specter when he was on her show during the Stimulus debate. I, too, don’t like listening when Tammy Bruce is on. I wish she would have Ann Coulter subbing for her.

Yes, Conservatives must be out front, but you can’t go around shooting at every potential ally. The stakes are TOO important.
Nobody’s being shot. I even said I was perfectly OK with Laura allowing Tammy to be a guest on her program. But hosting the program is a different issue. I have a right to express disagreement with a person(conservative or not) I differ with. Group thinking sheeple is something that the lefties specialize in.
Go right ahead and continue to exclude anyone who doesnt agree with you on every issue. It’s the ticket to losing every election in the 21st century.

Tammy is more of a Libertarian. She wants smaller government, but she also has defended the Judeo-Christian tradition of America. She is pro-choice but she wants the states to decide and not the federal government. Not an ideal position, but attacking her as a socialist is misleading.
So the solution is to act like mindless sheeple and never use one’s ability to discern and think critically?
I’ve read that article before. But she wrote that back in 2004. The other day she was giving the “conservative” argument for it on Laura’s show. If Tammy wants to do that on her own show, that’s her right and her freedom to do so. However, she’s guest hosting(not a guest debating with Laura about it but guest hosting) a show with a host that supposedly disagrees with her about it. I doubt Tammy would let a pro-life, pro-Biblical perspective on sex, marriage and family like James Dobson(for example) serve as a guest host on her show and use her platform to argue his viewpoint. So why should Laura do the same for her?
What I can gather Tammy is for freedom from the federal government and the states should dictate social policy. However thinking about it a bit more... you are right that it is curious on why Laura, who is one of the best advocates for the pro-life movement, would have Tammy Bruce guest host.
Tammy Bruce can call herself whatever she likes. But what she IS is a moderate Liberal. The #1 test for a Conservative MUST be the abortion issue. If you are FOR abortion, you are simply not a Conservative — because no matter what other conservative issues you may espouse, you are still FOR the killing of babies in the womb. That makes you a Liberal — part of the Cult of Death.

I don’t agree. The #1 test for a CHRISTIAN (after salvation) would most likely be the abortion issue. The #1 test for a Conservative MUST be liberty.
Abortion is the most dispicable thing going on the world. Sadly, no matter what laws exist or don’t exist, abortions will happen. The only way to really end abortion is to change hearts and minds. To do that, we have get America back on track by respecting the basics on which America was founded (Judeo-Christian), respecting human life, truly educating the youth (privately or publicly) re the Constitution, etc.
If the Conservatives can turn the tide from secular liberalism / socialism, then the other things will fall in to place.
Hey for those of us who can’t get Laura’s radio show during the day (weak radio in the office) there is a radio station in Sacramento that re-airs her show every night from 7-10 Pacific time. KAHI 950AM.
