The important questions you ignore are: Did you get a PCP?
The point is, I was able to get individual coverage equivalent to my prior employer provided coverage at similar (actually lower) cost without having to go through any process more complex or onerous than I did to choose coverage at the prior employer. And, yes, I kept my PCP.
