You have taken perfectly good facts and drawn a perfectly wrong conclusion. According to your logic we might as well just get rid of police because crime is inevitable. Removing illegal profits does work, and was demonstrated by the repeal of prohibition. Because their are other criminal opportunities doesn't support your assertion.
