Can you even imagine the members of the great generation talking about their inheritance from their parents? Sad what we've become.My experience with my clients the last 5 years is that the only kids who don't want Mom and Dad to get a RM are the worthless ones. Most want Mom and Dad to enjoy their senior years. Because most RM's are gummint insured the kids can never owe more than the house is worth when the folks are gone.

Can you explain how that works? Why would the kids owe anything if the mortgage company then owns the house?
