CHICAGO Newspapers perform a public service for democracy and should be allowed to operate as tax-exempt non-profits, U.S. Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D.-Md., proposed Tuesday.
^^^^^^
The Baltimore SUN, which has never met a Republican that it liked, is owned by the Chicago Company that also owns the LA Times.
Ben Cardin is a career politician from Baltimore.
No connection here!
Save a Tree: Ban Newspapers.
I’ll bet Pravda started the same way.

Government run Pravda.
First they came for control of the Financial industry, the Banks and the money, but I did not speak out because I was not involved with Banks.
Then they came for the Newspapers and media, but I did not speak out because I was not working for those corporations.
Then they came for the utility industries, gas, power and transportation but I did not speak out because I was not employed by those companies
Then they came for me, and no one was left to speak out for me.
My, what inventive ways to make payoffs. Even after you have emptied the treasurey.
Grand Theft on prime time.
Ben is the POS who defeated Mike Steele to becom the Machine politician Democrat to represent my state of Maryland, He and the Dyke Midget will vote for anything they are told to vote for, they have no minds of their own.

Liberals will be more entrenched than ever......
Why can’t GUN STORES get Tax Exempt status, then???
When will ACORN, International ANSWER, the Communist Party-USA, MoveOn, Kos and that crew be starting their own “non-profit” newspapers do you think? I’m sure I’m not the first to think of it?
The Angry Senator strikes again!
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
It is like throwing them a lead life preserver. They’re going down no matter what. This gives them a few more seconds.
The only people I know that regularly read hard copy newspapers are over 65 and/or have a dial up connection or no internet.
Just like no tax exempt religious organization can endorse a candidate yet Dems are always campaigning in churches.
Anybody read “Atlas Shrugged” lately?
I get it...
A pro-Liberal institution fails...it gets tax-exempt status.
But talk radio is being slammed...
The Libs have no conscience.
