A little known fact: Adolph Hitler was a green. Part of his platform was a conservationist platform. That platform just works so well for a fascist. You and your children will die unless you give us control that you would normally not give us.
An environmentalist can conjure up a crisis from nothing. The sky is gaining to much of a blue hue; must be because we are stirring up too much dust. Or the glaciers are retreating as has been the case for recorded history, therefor we are emitting too much carbon dioxide.

It’s interesting that Hitler was also a vegetarian, a non-smoker who would not tolerate smoking any where near him, and he was quite kind to animals. Curious common ground with some of the little brown-shirts on the American left today.
