Good thread kellynla!! But I would take the bet that most US bishops voted for prez. O. in a heart beat dude. I remember a quote from a bishop who said the same thing in a thread on FR, that most bishops ‘probly vote dem/Obama.

Yea, well if you “believe” what some anonymous poster on FR said, then you’ll believe anything, “dude!” LOL

[My pastor was positively giddy the Sunday after Obama was elected...without even a hint of acknowledgement at how rabidly pro-abortion Obama is.

It saddened me greatly. Will never look at him quite the same again.]

Why don’t you find a different church to attend with a new pastor that shares your values? I would never attend a church with a pastor that supported obama.

Actually, it wasn’t a poster on FR, I was wrong about that. It was an interview by Laura Ingraham with Raymond Arroyo:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/2131554/posts

Laura Ingraham: Here is the problem, how many of the bishops voted for Obama.

Raymond Arroyo: ...The bishops I spoke to say that maybe half of their brother bishops if not more voted for Obama. Because they thought the symbol of Obama would overcome racism and be a great healer and unity.

Like the thread said, no it is not verifiable. But I’d still take that bet in a heartbeat. Heck, the “proportionate reason” to be able to vote for a baby butcherist would be reason enough to suspect how most bishops voted.

Ninety percent of the “Catholics” who voted for Obama go to church on Christmas and Easter (if even then); the other ten percent are profoundly misguided (at best).

What am I missing here?

Church condemns abortion, Obama holds it up as a left wing sacrament.

Please pass the duct tape.

The only people who voted for Hussein were the HALF of Americans who depend on the government for their livelihood, 90% of Blacks and the Whites who had a “guilty conscience.”

but ANY Catholic who voted for Obama is not a CATHOLIC in good standing...and that goes for ANY priest, I don't care who they are!
Point, Game, Set, Match!

Jay Scott Newman, priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, stated it well:

“A vote for Obama constitutes material cooperation with intrinsic evil.”

"By their fruits you will know them. We all know Zero is a baby-killing Marxist. Now we know that Notre Dame isn't the Catholic institution it pretends to be."

I suspect that few of the colleges are. - I can only speak to St. Mary's (the guys that whipped Davidson last night) here in Moraga; they are radicals to the core. Parents sacrifice to send their kids to supposedly Christian schools, only to find out that they might as well have sent them to Beijing.

couldn't have said it better...

I'm just waiting for a response from Chief Justice Roberts who is examining the legal challenges to Hussein's eligibility to be POTUS.

Yeah, but who’s gonna haul his teleprompter in and question it under oath?

There are more Democrats at my Catholic church than any other denomination in town. I saw more Obama bumper stickers in our lot than I would at a local mall.

Truly a hypocritical mess my church is.

And before I leave you,
I'm not here for “goodwill.” I am here to ALERT & EDUCATE THE WORLD as best I can to the more than 30 MILLION MURDERS OF BABIES that has been occurring in America for the past 36 years and to STOP IT ASAP and “if” I step on a few toes in the meantime then that's just too damn bad!

Good day!

What needs to be done is a total boycott of Notre Dame football. It has sucked anyway in recent years, yet still enjoys radio and TV contracts with NBC. Don’t watch the games. Don’t buy the merchandise. Spread the word. Hit them where it hurts—football.

Aren’t Catholics of the opinion that only the priests can talk to God, and that all the parishioners must go through them to have access to God?

Uh, no. Not in the slightest.

Of all the ridiculous notions...!
