I keep telling people the Republicans are not going to help you. They are part of the problem.

The problem is that they are politicians, first and foremost. They are seeing this massive power-grab as an opportunity... for themselves.
I agree I am still dumbfounded, but I also know it has happened and we need to do something about it. What I am not yet sure. We need to do whatever we can as it is clear the GOP and the elected officials will not.
