How many of those officers were from Oakland?
The suburbs should not be policing Oaktown.
Maybe this guy was fed up with the OPD, the biggest weapons carriers in the city. Who knows what the police said to him, how they treated him. Will we ever know? The police are the ones who hold all of the evidence, write the reports, investigate corruption...
The police ruin peoples lives everyday. They send fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers to jails/concentration camps. They take OUR money to do evil.
What if every police station in Oakland were instead a community center with free food and health care?
This man may have killed 3 cops, but think about how many lives those cops had already taken. Police do the devil’s work and shouldn’t expect immunity.

yeah, like free food and health care is going to stop a career criminal who is wanted for probation violations from killing a few police officers because he is not going back to jail and plans to take a few innocents along with him.... I’m sick of this give me attitude, it’s what’s ruining this country.

There is animosity (before this shooting) towards the Oakland PD because a Transit Cop shot an unarmed 22 year old man at a train station (BART, I would imagine).
There were people "taunting police officers" at the scene of the traffic stop where one police officer was killed when the police set up a crime scene area...
Was that signed by Jeremiah Wright?
If I were a police officer in that area I would refuse to enter it. Let them police themselves.
