I think that the fact the Democrats could merely mention “Bush” and the general public would begin spitting and talking in tongues helped them sell the country on the economy being a Republican generated mess/scandal. I think after this week, Democrats may have to start answering the hard questions, which they do not want to do. Note how Barney Frank came out swinging this week. They are hoping the public does not wake up from its malaise.

Yup, I strongly agree with you.
I'd go as far as saying that the Congress and the Senate hold the purse strings (meaning Pelosie/Ried since January 2007) and that Congressman Barney Frank and Senators Chrissy Dodd and Schuckie Schumer were in control of the Banking/Financial Committees and that Bama Boy was in the Senate during that time weaving Obama’s inheritance into the nasty web that it is today. Enjoy your inheritance boys and girl.

He didn’t inherit a mess, he created a mess. Truth is, Obama was tanking in the polls (down 8pts.) with affective advertising regarding his “star status/Paris Hilton, in addition the Rev. Wright thing was heating again. He was losing serious ground, then the meltdown aka September surprise hit, he never looked back. I don’t know how it was orchestrated, but it was.
