I have seen the stigma that city folk have put on anything resembling 'rural' for years and here we are. All the nutritional information in the world has been available basically free of charge for over 50 years through EVERY counties extension service out of their state colleges. It is all on line now also. There is no excuse.

Plus good old If you receive WIC, Food Stamps or have food from a local food bank, you'll be able to do much better than this menu plan. It is based on bare minimums.

Our downtown library has a large bank of Internet connected computers. Whenever I walk by, I notice that every computer is being used, and the users are almost exclusively minority.

Every screen displays a social networking site.

I don't think they are going online to educate themselves about nutrition.
