Maybe this idiotic commentator ought to actually look up our history (while I never condone violence) maybe he ought to realize that our founders sought the formation of militias (many of them being formed today do not advocate for open ward with the US government, merely preparation to defend their communities/families as home guard units). As long as they don’t threaten anyone then I see no reason why “good ole boys with guns” in the woods shouldn’t be left alone.
I'm not certain of the other states and their Constitutions, but here in Arkansas, EVERY able-bodied man, aged 18 to 45 is automatically a member of the Arkansas militia by virtue of his citizenship in the state. Someone needs to explain to him also that the term militia does not automatically refer to a bunch of nutters out in the deep woods as well.
