That you attempt to advance the agenda of a man who is operating far outside his field of expertise (an ecologist acting as a theologian), is telling.
Still, even though the learned Fathers, the theologians & scholars they employ, scientists, observation, and common sense tell me otherwise, if you and Some Guy On The Internet say so, I guess it must be true.

Off to renounce my faith in God and the Church resume my life, knowing that faith and reason are entirely compatible. God allowed us advanced brains and it seems obvious that he expects us to use them to reason.

God has already stated he is angry with those who choose to see—and dupe others to see—His creation through naturalistic lenses. As Mr. T would might say, I pity the fool that gives creation credit for that which has been accomplished by the Creator!
