Listening to Hugh Hewitt's third hour of Friday March 20, 2009, and he was interviewing California Assemblyman Chuck Devore who is running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Barbara Boxer.
I don't live in California, and I don't know Chuck Devore, but I appreciate anyone who is willing to put themselves up to unseat some of these entrenched leftists. According to Devore, she's vulnerable.
Anyone have a California list (or any other like minded list), please ping them to visit his website:
Chuck Devore for United States Senate 2010
Also, it looks like he posted once on FR back in April 2007:
Nuclear power revisited in state: Bill would lift ban on new plants-polls show voters evenly split
I appreciate the discussion on this board.
With Sen. Peratas bill last year that bans the renewal of contracts from coal power (20 percent of Californias power is from coal), coupled with AB 32s growing restrictions, weve backed ourselves into a corner. I dont see how we make up coals 20 percent while keeping power reliable and affordable for working class Californians without nuclear power at least doubling to fill part of the vacuum caused by the departure of coal.
Solar today produces 0.2 percent of power in California. We could increase it by a factor of 10 and it still would not be enough.
All the best,
Chuck DeVore
State Assemblyman, 70th District

And in case Chuck Devore still visits FR, here’s a ping to him.
Retire the debt in CA by drilling offshore. Chuck should run on this...
Chuck needs to stand buck naked in front of the county court house and post his check register on Google.... That’s what’s in front of him.
Audio of his interview with Hugh Hewitt should be up later tonight or tomorrow for anyone interested in listening:

Unless Brad Pitt is running, beating Boxer in CA is a long shot. It’s all about name recognition, these days.
Yeah, I know the odds probably aren’t good. Maybe some people like Hannity, Levin, Prager can give him some airtime too.
Huh?
Then SPREAD THE WORD and MAKE him known.
The last thing we need is another Celebutard!
Thanks for the ping to your list calcowgirl. Audio of his interview should be at the Hugh Hewitt link above later tonight or tomorrow if you didn’t get to hear it.
Glad you posted that because I didn’t quite get the post either :)
Yep, all this country needs is an Arnold up there doing his RINO thing. I can’t imagine Arnold is all that well liked in California any more though, is he?
It’s hard to believe that Barbara Boxer is vulnerable in CA. I’d like to see Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Boxer all go down, but it seems like a fantasy.

The libs love him! ;-)
Not really. I think his approval rating is down to about 30%. Dems are still loyal to *their* liberals, but never complain as Arnie helps them advance their agenda.
