I'm not a socialist. I cannot live in a socialist country. I can live with socialists/liberals I just don't ever want them in power. I would rather live on a dessert Island, by myself than to live in a socialistically governed country.

You grew up in a socialist country, protected by the USA. In like manner, a socialist Canada, a socialist (SSA) States of America, and the CSA (Conservative States of America) could share defense treaties - like NATO. Although we all know who would do the heavy lifting in that scenario. :)

“Considerably less wealthy and less powerful” These are your words, what is freedom worth to you? At what point do you stop fretting your pocket book, and demand your freedom? This was the very question our founding fathers asked. I only hope and pray we can do as well.
