But he never voted for Reagan,It would be more accurate to say 'he didn't vote at all'.

IMHO, you don't know what you are talking about. Please don't embarrass yourself by saying that you listen to Rush. If you had, you'd know that Rush has criticized Bush quite a bit. In fact, I've heard him blame the fall of the GOP on Bush. Who do you think led the charge against Bush's shamnesty plan??? I listen to him...I remember him saying how Bush's legacy would eventually become a great one. I've heard him excuse, many times, the missteps of President Bush and berate those (like me) who blame Bush for his failed presidency (and, I might add, who believe him the direct reason we now have Obama) yet Rush has no problem when it comes to bashing McCain or other Republican "RINOs" despite their constant call for fiscal and conservative responsibility in all money matters.

all the actions the libs are taking have nothing to do with helping the economy. the libs want their social programs to get through and not worry about the economy.
the libs are COUNTING on the business leaders on the right to do their normal job and pull this out on our own.
screw them

Bushs 400b deficit was nothing on Zeros 1.8 trillion!Charles Manson's 6 murders were nothing compared to Hitler's 6 million!
See, I can justify numbers too...but, yet, it's still hard to justify horrendous crime no matter the degree.

I asked you to not embarrass yourself, but you insisted on it. No, you do NOT listen to Rush. Anybody that truly "listens" to Rush would know that he has harshly criticized Bush and other republicans when they had it coming.
A few weeks ago a caller asked Rush why the GOP lost their grip as the majority party in D.C. Rush told him that basically Bush drove the party off the cliff and members of Congress had to choose between following their President and leader of their party or bucking all that. Most chose to follow Bush.
Of course you ignored my question about "Shamnesty".
Rush isn't perfect but please don't act like a "seminar caller" pretending that Rush never criticized Bush. He has done so. Bush has also done some good things, which Rush has rightly defended. I'm sorry if that is too much nuance for you.

Why not. 1) More debt 2) More printing of money out of thin air 3) Friendlier to our enemies than our friends 4) Stunning incompetence 5) Record breaking deficits 6) Cap and trade and check card 7) Attack on free markets What's there not to be pissed about?
8.Giving the finger to our best friends the Brits and
9. Undermining wounded vets.
10. Trying to revive the boogie man "vast right wing conspiracy"...

Don't you know that you can not criticize Bush or Rush's relative non criticism of Bush without being jumped on by the Bushbots. Rush should have jumped down the throats of Bush, Paulson and all those leftwing Bush appointed cronies from the Ivy League that were educated by the Keyesian, Marxist from the London School of Economics. These people were anti-capitalist from the getgo. They believed in a government managed economy despite the overwhelming evidence that those policies do not work. Bush was either in league with these socialists or was just too ignorant to understand their views. It is so hypocritical to constantly slam Obama and the democrat Congress for pursing the same policies begun by those republicans such as Bush and the other Rinos who really had no faith or grounding in economics. The fact that Obama is giving us the same policies increased by a factor of ten is not grounds for jumping down his throat unless you are willing to repeatedly slam the previous administration for starting this insane process.

You’re absolutely correct re:Bush. He set the table for this disaster and gave Obama the perfect situation in which to accomplish everything libs/socialists have been salivating over for decades.

That picture says it all. Look at the disgust in his face.

I see you’re relatively new to FR. Welcome. I’ve been here since 1998.
All you have to do is click on my username, and it takes you to my profile. My profile tells you some of what I do. I write daily, and have readers on every continent except Antarctica. I also speak, do conferences, and have gone to a number of rallies.
And if I had more influence and opportunity, God willing, I’d do more. But I do everything I can with what I have.
Since you asked.
Bert:
I don’t know what your excuse is.

Don't you know that you can not criticize Bush or Rush's relative non criticism of Bush without being jumped on by the Bushbots. You also will irritate your host JR. You should be a lot more cognizant of that fact. Just ask some other posters.
Oh, wait, you can't, they've been dumped.

Do you think I’m missing something? Sincerely, not sarcastically: isn’t it the case that he was talking up Reagan, how great he was and all... but didn’t actually move his person to vote for him?
If so, doesn’t that sort of stick in your craw?
