When this becomes law the country is over.

I might be just wishful thinking, but from my reading of the populace, I think Mr. Hope&Change has about cashed his check.
The vast populace is already way tired of "iniatives" and "reforms." And in any event, Obama doesn't have the goodwill to get them done.
It wouldn’t surprise me if it is a done deal within the next month, the way things are going.
