Sadly, that's demonstrably not true. In the episodes where he returns to Earth, he fights the idea that their advanced technology shouldn't be given to everyone and blows off an argument that terrorism changed things. It's a big part of why he leaves and those who think he should only give the technology to the United States are clearly shown as villains. Similarly, the IOA that the Stargate teams answer to is the "International Oversight Advisory" Board which is essentially made of of the the permanent Security Council members of the UN. I like both Farscape and Stargate quite a bit but they have their dopey liberal moments.
