I am usually appalled by Barney Frank just on general principles, but his performance this week was very illustrative of why power is best kept out of the hands of people who have a personal axe to grind with the rest of the human race. I sat there listening to Edward Liddy, hoping that he would ask the Lavender Inquisitor if he had "no shame" (or at least tell him to go to Hell... which he kinda, sorta started to do).

Frank's bellowing left schmutz on everyone within hearing.

Why would Liddy sit there and take that abuse? I believe he is also there for show and is in on the whole scam.
