It's called projection.

I seem to recall that the leftists didn’t even wait for President Bush to be sworn in before they went balistic - calling for impeachment and generally blasting him at every turn - some even wanted to leave the country (they never did - libs NEVER keep thier promises!)
At least “we” waited to see if Pres__ent Zero actually turned out to be the NULL that we expected him to be ....

(Here's my strategy on the War against Terrorism: We win, they lose. - with apologies to R.R.)
Barely two months into the Obama administration, wing-nuts across the land are frothing at the mouth, talking feverishly of secession, violent revolution, tax revolt, "going Galt," and national divorce. It would be hilarious if it weren't so creepy.Holy mackerel! They almost sound like DEMOCRATS, who promised (THEY LIED!!!! Who didn't see that one coming!) to leave the USA once Bush was elected!

Ah, no, Mike, you are creepy and delusional. Check back to your ruminations about “wingnuts” in a few months. I don't think you will be laughing in the future, ass.

Yeah, but notice the thread of continuity with pre-Obama oratory: we are still the "ilks".
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Until and unless that day arrives, however, ours remains a riven nation. But if Malkin and their ilk want to "drop out" in the meantime, more power to 'em. It'll be nice, frankly, not to have to hear them talk for a while.
He won't be so cavalier when his taxes go to 99% in "Massafornia" to cover all their social programs.

The Phoenix wasn’t always this outspoken:
“There are three reasons not to publish the Danish cartoons depicting Mohammed with his turban styled as a bomb (to view the cartoons, click here) and the other images that have sparked violent protests and deaths throughout Europe, the Middle East, West Asia, and Indonesia:
1) Out of fear of retaliation from the international brotherhood of radical and bloodthirsty Islamists who seek to impose their will on those who do not believe as they do. This is, frankly, our primary reason for not publishing any of the images in question. Simply stated, we are being terrorized, and as deeply as we believe in the principles of free speech and a free press, we could not in good conscience place the men and women who work at the Phoenix and its related companies in physical jeopardy. As we feel forced, literally, to bend to maniacal pressure, this may be the darkest moment in our 40-year publishing history.
2) Out of respect for the millions of faithful and peace-abiding believers throughout the world who are deeply disturbed by the violation of their religions proscription against the pictorial representation of their prophet.
3) And in the hope that restraint shown by those who believe deeply in the sanctity of free speech will be able to stand side by side with those who believe with equal fervor in the dignity of religious expression to oppose the forces of darkness and evil in the Islamic world.
That is why there is no image in the space above this editorial....”

Next time, let's take them up on it, and enforce their rhetoric on them.
Let's kick New England and downstate New York out of the Union.
Then exile Berkeley and Ithaca and Georgetown residents under pain of death. Nick their ears and tattoo "Leftist Loser" on their foreheads, then put them on planes and boats to anywhere. Problem solved.
Of course, Obama's Weatherman pal Bill Ayers's solution is for 25,000,000 of us to die.

To the mod that deleted my post #5... I am sorry if that offended you. Let me just say that it seems like the left is trying to change the Nation that we all love into something else and it is the left that should create their own Nirvana and allow the rest of us to live under the Freedom and Liberty that so many patriots have fought and died for. That was my point.

The solution is a return to and a re-embracement of the principles of the Constitution and our Founders.
There’s no need to secede.
Yet.

Spoken like a true Yankee. Arrogance on display. If you have a problem with socialism you are nuts. I know now how my Virginia ancestors felt in 1861, it is a “creepy” feeling I will grant the Yank that.
