People such as you are the reason we have Barack Hussein Obama in office now.

Wrong! The reason we have Obama is because Bush laid the groundwork for a move toward socialism. Bush had four years of a republican Congress and what did he push? NCLB, prescription drugs, amnesty, etc. The country was leaning left and he did nothing to push it back to the right.

Oh, and don't blame the media. Bush had the tallest, biggest bully pulpit on earth and he failed to use it.

People like you should really read and understand how Bush used "conservatism" to push socialist ideas and the country simply said, 'Heck, if the leader of the GOP is going that way too, it must be right."

A good number of the complaints about Bush are legit, but this one doesn't hold water.

He campaigned on “compassionate conservatism.” What do you think that was supposed to mean? Except for the post 911 military decisions, he was exactly the President he said he would be.

The American people gave us BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.
A country full of ignorant people who are too lazy to work and think government is the answer.

STOP BLAMING BUSH, get over your Bush hatred and grow up.

People like me are Conservatives, but we know the difference between moderates and socialist. Maybe taking a Poli Sci 101 class would help or perhaps picking up a Webster's Collegiate dictionary might help.

Furthermore, Who said I agreed with all of W's policy? His inability to control government spending was a major disappointment.

Take control and place blame where blame lies - on the American People for allowing Liberal views to permeate our society.

As for the pop up remark made about the book, only ignorant immature people make such insipid, asinine posts.

“Bush had the tallest, biggest bully pulpit on earth and he failed to use it.”

And, as much as I like him for so many reasons, that was his biggest failure. Reagan was masterful at taking his positions to the people directly and moving them to push their congress reps and senators into the directed he wanted. Bush badly needed to do that and didn’t.

You know something.....it beats the hell out of daily carbombings in our major cities...

I had some issues with Bush as well....but my number ONE issue....he took care of quite well ...

Thank you Mr Bush for being willing to get your hands dirty fighting terrorist vermin while the democrats tried to hold your arms behind your back.

For the record...Bush is a moderate.

But he was a hell of a lot better than the alternative...both times.

Bush had four years of a republican Congress and what did he push? NCLB, prescription drugs, amnesty, etc.

Plus Bush made sure that the GOP wouldn't have a viable Presidential candidate in his VP slot. Obama should send Bush a thank you note for that.
